Composer & Musical Director

For the past 10 years Simon has been resident Musical Director of touring company This Is My Theatre, and has created the music for every one of TIMT’s shows and musical ventures, including the recent Concert for the Churches Conservation Trust, presented by Jools Holland. He has researched and created the scores for over 40 productions, and worked with the cast throughout rehearsals in each case. He delves into the historical context of every script, and blends the music of the era with original compositions to tap into the emotional journey of the story and its characters.

Simon also collaborated as co-arranger with alt-folk duo redbook on their 2022 tour, helping to harmonise and arrange vocal and instrumental parts across a two-act show.
